Focus Box
I built this cabinet to maintain focus in the grainy subterranean world of
Brooklyn, NY. I had the idea to make a space which would remain always clean and
uncluttered. I put models into the box to concentrate on their realization as finished
pieces. It works well, and I have built several. It is hand-dovetailed, built from
Mahogany. The stretcher at the bottom evokes, for me, Tonsu.
